Harbinger Vol. 1

"Harbinger" is a comic book series created by writer Jim Shooter and artist David Lapham, first published by Valiant Comics in 1992. The story follows Peter Stanchek, a psionically empowered teenager who discovers he possesses incredible mental abilities. Alongside other super-powered individuals known as "Harbingers," Peter becomes entangled in a conflict with the mysterious organization known as the Harbinger Foundation, led by the enigmatic Toyo Harada. As Peter struggles to control his powers and navigate the complexities of this new world, he faces moral dilemmas and confronts the darker aspects of human nature. The series explores themes of power, identity, and the consequences of one's choices, all set within a richly developed superhero universe.
